How late can the after-party run?
Last call is 4am. Most after-parties wrap between 1am and 3am, but the option is there. Your guests decide when the night ends — not the venue.
Can the same caterer continue from the reception?
Yes — most do. We coordinate with whichever caterer ran your reception so late-night pizza, sliders, taco bars, or whatever you’ve planned arrives on schedule. They handle prep off-site and serve from their own setup.
Can you set up while the reception is happening?
Yes. Our team can fully prep the room — bar, AV, lighting cues, dance floor — before guests arrive from the reception. By the time the bride and groom walk in, the after-party is already running.
Where can late-arriving guests park?
Public lot directly across Putnam Street, metered street parking on the block, and parking garages a short walk away. Most after-party guests Uber over from the reception or walk from a nearby hotel.
Can guests bring kids to the after-party?
Generally no — after 10pm Putnam operates as a 21+ venue under its standard liquor license. If you want a kid-inclusive after-party, we can structure it as an earlier private event ending before that cutoff.
When is The Patio at Putnam open?
The patio is seasonal — typically May through October, weather permitting. Summer wedding after-parties love it: string lights, cocktails, smoker-friendly.
