Come join us for a special Friends of New York Benefit Concert. Friends of New York is a Non-For-Profit Organization with the sole purpose of creating a bereavement fund for those less fortunate. The evening will feature performances by The Grandstand Jockeys, The Let Downs, Brother T & The Boys, Philip Shaver, Black Horse Riders, plus a number of special guests. There will also be a 50/50 raffle, multiple raffles for gift certificates from local businesses, as well as a silent auction for “Peterson’s Heart” art installation, a 1 of 1 hand sketched and hand-painted pictures of Peterson’s Old heart.
Black Horse Riders has been a staple in the Hudson Valley live music since 1990. Formed by multi-instrumentalist Roland Hasbrouck and multiple sessions players. BHR have a darker feel, accented by luminous folk rock that manages to feel epic, narrative and broad despite its modest length.

Indie grunge rock 4-piece The Grandstand Jockeys emerged in 2021 after founding member Ron Burris decided to spend his newfound free time during the pandemic improving his guitar chops. Building on the groundwork laid by legendary influences from Queens Of The Stone Age and Nirvana to Foo Fighters, Tom Petty, and beyond, The Grandstand Jockeys have become known for their signature brand of guitar-driven indie-meets-grunge rock — a winning combination that has earned them a diverse and growing fanbase over 3 EPs and a host of electric live gigs to date, including opening for Crobot, Austin Mead, Shafer James, and The SoapGirls. With momentum at an all-time high, the band continue to work on 13 new tracks slated for release over the year to come, while plans for an expanded tour circuit firm up in the background.
