Victory Soul Orchestra is a hometown horn funk favorite. The dirty sounds of New Orleans brass drive their sound with some influences including Galactic as well as the Dap Kings. You can also find them fronted by Albany’s own JB aka Dirty Moses and singer Dali Soto. Their efforts combined help create a funk/rap show that brings the house down.

Dirty Soap is a Rock group from Philadelphia. Founding members, Spoon Ferguson and Thomas Martin, met in high school and quickly formed a musical bond. Blending Spoon’s raw vocals, affinity for traditional Blues, and unique guitar stylings (he plays left handed with inverted strings) with Thomas’ smooth Doo-wop approach and catchy song writing. The name Dirty Soap represents these opposing styles.

Over the years they crafted their unique sound on Philly street corners and parks – dubbing themselves “Doo-wop Punks”.  Now with their explosive live performances, hard work, restless dedication, and a youthful excitement and love for their craft, they strive to be amongst the many greats to come out of Philadelphia.

Front Biz is an Albany/Troy-based quartet forging ecstatic sounds at the crossroads of rock, funk, and psychedelia. The band formed around Erik Pravel’s electronic drum kit in 2016 to play glitched mashups of Charles Mingus and Black Sabbath in the basement of a Presbyterian church. The project soon evolved into a double-barrel guitar workout fronted by Raurri Jennings, the holographic result of Rick Moranis singing Prince karaoke, and Peter Lavery, the world’s fattest man. Josh Potter plays himself, also the bass.

Their debut, Lunch Money, was released in 2019 on Five Kill Records.
