SUMMARY:The Dave Matthews Tribute Band
DESCRIPTION:Doors: 8:00pm\nShow: 9:00pm \nAges: 18+ \nTickets: $20 Advance / $25 Day of Show \n** Click Here to Purchase Tickets ** \n  \nTheir name says it all: The Dave Matthews Tribute Band. For nearly 20 years\, the band has been performing sold out shows around the world; playing over 1\,500 dates in 46 states and 8 countries. Many go to their live shows with reservations\, high expectations\, and the burning question\, “Do these guys sound like the real Dave Matthews Band?” Almost always the answer is\, “Yes!” \nSince 2004\, The DMTB is the only nationally touring tribute to the Dave Matthews Band. This 5-piece ensemble strives to pay homage to their famous counterparts by matching the excitement\, energy\, intensity and intimacy of a DMB live show. \nWhile most fans never witnessed the real band before they became the platinum-selling artists they are today\, The Dave Matthews Tribute Band prides itself on giving audiences this opportunity at intimate venues around the world. \nAs Rick Grant of Entertaining U in Jacksonville\, FL wrote\, “The Dave Matthews Tribute Band turned out to exceed its billing as a quality improvisational band that uses Dave Matthews material as themes to improvise. Clearly\, this distinguishes them from the other so-called tribute bands. The band is exceptionally tight and produces a solid groove over which the players improvise with hot chops.” \nBeyond mastering the DMB sound and the relentless touring\, what separates The Dave Matthews Tribute Band from other cover bands is their passion\, love\, and respect for DMB and their music. That is what makes you come out of one of their shows saying\, “Yeah\, they really do sound like the real Dave Matthews Band.” \nWebsite: www.thedmtb.com \n  \n \n  \nReturn to Calendar \n

SUMMARY:Neighbor w/ Peak
DESCRIPTION:Doors: 7:00pm\nShow: 8:00pm \nAges: 18+ \nTickets: $20 Advance / $25 Day of Show \n** Click Here to Purchase Tickets ** \n  \nThe band Neighbor began over 35 years ago – they just didn’t know it yet. Childhood neighbors Richard James (vocals\, keys) and Lyle Brewer (guitar) shared fence lines and melodies as they both grew and explored their own musical paths. The quartet became complete with the addition of Dan Kelly (bass) and Dean Johnston (drums) in 2019. Their creative incubation began with a weekly residency that grew in large part by the passion of their fans\, the “Neighbors”\, who continue to inspire the band as the fan base has expanded across the country. \nWith a diverse catalog of hundreds of songs\, the musical juggernaut Neighbor has become one of the most exciting and unpredictable live bands on the music scene today. Neighbor combines ambitious composition\, soulful balladry\, and a fearless approach to their lengthy improvisations. Not boxed in by a single genre\, their songwriting brings elements of Americana\, Funk\, Rock\, Jazz\, Soul and more. The band is putting pen to paper once again as they head back into the studio to begin work on their second album. \nCome see what’s good in the Neighborhood. \nWebsite: www.neighbortunes.com \n  \n \n  \n \nIn late 2016 Brooklyn-based guitarist and songwriter Jeremy Hilliard began performing and touring under the name PEAK. In 2018\, he released the now critically acclaimed debut album Electric Bouquet\, produced by Dave Brandwein (Turkuaz). In 2019 the band took on a life of its own as one by one some of the best musicians in the improv rock scene joined the group including Kito Bovenschulte (Particle) on drums\, Josh T. Carter (Hayley Jane and The Primates) on bass\, and newcomer extraordinaire Johnny Young on keys. The group’s music\, described as Psychedelic Indie Funk\, is a mix of poetic\, melodic songwriting\, moody electrofunk\, riffed-out blues-rock\, and exploratory danceable improvisations. Some of their many influences include artists such as The Band\, The Talking Heads\, Phish\, The Grateful Dead\, Radiohead\, James Brown\, and Miles Davis\, as well as modern songwriters such as Conor Oberst\, Mac Demarco\, Kurt Vile\, and Jack White to name a few. \nWebsite: www.peaktheband.com \n  \n \n  \nReturn to Calendar \n

SUMMARY:Dogs in a Pile NYE Celebration
DESCRIPTION:Doors: 8:00pm\nShow: 9:00pm \nAges: 18+ \nTickets: $25 (A limited number of 4-Day Tickets are also available) \n** Click Here to Purchase Tickets ** \n  \n \nRing in 2025 with Dogs in a Pile at Putnam Place! \nThe sandy shores of Asbury Park\, New Jersey are hallowed ground in the Northeast; the rolling waves have ushered generations of venerated musicians to worldwide acclaim. Dogs In A Pile\, an eclectic quintet\, has emerged as the heir apparent to the town’s rich musical legacy. Merging funk\, jazz\, and rock and roll with psychedelia\, the band presents a completely original vibe built on kaleidoscopic soundscapes eerily reminiscent of the days of yesteryear. \nThe Dogs employ a unified approach to performance and songwriting\, crafting aural mosaics through adept instrumentation and humble precocity. As avid storytellers\, they draw inspiration from personal experiences\, balancing life’s foibles with ever-present youthful sanguinity. \nDogs formed when Jersey Shore native and guitar gun-slinger Jimmy Law began playing with family friend Joe Babick (drums) at a young age. Lightning struck when they were introduced to Berklee School of Music student and bass player Sam Lucid\, who immediately suggested fellow Berklee student and keyboard player Jeremy Kaplan. The addition of Berklee student Brian Murray (guitar) in 2019 made for the quintessential final piece in the Dogs’ puzzle. \nA string of sold-out local shows drove the development of a massive Northeast fan base\, affectionately known as the Dog Pound. As the band has traversed new territory\, their astronomical rise has continued nationwide. Armed with an evolving catalog of material and cultivation of an identity unique to Dogs In A Pile\, the quintet is laying down a musical and communal foundation most often associated with the scene’s most beloved acts. \nWebsite: www.dogsinapileofficial.com \n  \n \n  \nReturn to Calendar \n

SUMMARY:Dogs in a Pile w/ Consider the Source
DESCRIPTION:Doors: 7:00pm\nShow: 8:00pm \nAges: 18+ \nTickets: $25 (A limited number of 4-Day Tickets are also available) \n** Click Here to Purchase Tickets ** \n  \nJoin Dogs in a Pile for Night #2 of their 4-night NYE run at Putnam Place\, with special guest\, Consider the Source! \n  \n \nThe sandy shores of Asbury Park\, New Jersey are hallowed ground in the Northeast; the rolling waves have ushered generations of venerated musicians to worldwide acclaim. \nWebsite: www.dogsinapileofficial.com \n  \n \n  \n  \n \nInstrumental progressive rock trio Consider the Source has been honing in on their unique sci-fi fusion sound for over a decade\, but it is with their 2024 release\, “The Stare” that their sonic vision is fully realized. Produced by David Prater (Dream Theater\, Firehouse)\, the 5-song album reveals more of the heavy metal influence the band has always had while also including the improvisational and cultural elements they have become synonymous with. This new collection of material certainly showcases their cutting edge instruments and technical virtuosity but the focus here is on the songs\, chock full of catchy riffs and melodies ranging from delicate and heartfelt to full on headbanger’s ball. \nWebsite: www.considerthesourcemusic.com \n  \n \n  \nReturn to Calendar \n

The band’s Americana Indie Rock found its roots in acoustic guitars without limits. Their songwriting\, led by guitars and synthesizers overtop a ground-shaking rhythm section\, offers the listener the ability to traverse across multiple genres. \nBecause every show is different\, experiencing the music of Annie in the Water live can be compared to paddling with a river. At times you may find yourself in the calm of the flow while at other times you may be deep in the rapids while the music churns and grows in energy. With the ebbs and flows you’re reminded of the constant that you are a part of something greater than yourself\, working together with the forces around you and caught in the midst of a beautiful moment in time. Each performance is another adventure. \nWebsite: www.annieinthewater.com \n  \n \n  \nReturn to Calendar \n
