SUMMARY:Anthony Gomes w/ Ten Ton Mojo
DESCRIPTION:Doors: 6:00pm\nShow: 7:00pm \nAges: 21+ \nTickets: $28 Advance / $35 Day of Show \n** Click Here to Purchase Tickets ** \n  \nWith a guitar slung over his shoulder and the amps turned up full tilt\, Anthony Gomes electrifies blues and rock at a 21st century crossroads of his own. The Canadian vocalist\, guitarist\, songwriter and producer wails with all the force of a hurricane in the Mississippi Delta and enough fret-burning fireworks to leave his strings in flames. Over the years\, he’s toppled the Billboard Blues Chart at #1\, earned the endorsement of legends such as B.B. King\, tallied tens of millions of streams\, and packed shows on multiple continents. In April 2025\, Anthony Gomes is back with his much-anticipated 14th studio album\, Praise the Loud\, set for release on Rat Pak Records. \n“I’ve learned how to embrace my voice as a guitarist and as a singer\,” he states. “I understand who I am\, and I use my strengths to my advantage. I have a blues soul and a rock ‘n’ roll heart. I love to jump back and forth between both with a modern day approach. When I play rock\, it’s got a little more dust on it.” \nBorn and raised in Toronto\, Ontario\, he fell in love with music as a kid\, listening to everyone from Muddy Waters and Jimi Hendrix to Jeff Beck and Eddie Van Halen. At 14 years old\, Anthony gravitated to the guitar and his relationship with the instrument was born. After grinding it out\, his chops caught the attention of B.B. King’s bus driver at a jam night. Blown away\, the driver introduced him to B.B. who invited him to open up a string of tour dates in 2005. Gaining invaluable knowledge from “The King\,” he went on to share the stage with the likes of Buddy Guy\, Robert Plant\, Joe Bonamassa\, Heart\, Sammy Hagar\, Kenny Wayne Shepherd\, and more. Along the way\, his concert attendees have included Academy® Award winner Morgan Freeman\, John Goodman\, and Vince Vaughn as well as Eric Clapton\, to name a few. \n2022’s High Voltage Blues vaulted to #1 on the iTunes Top Blues Albums Chart\, #1 on Amazon Music’s New Release Blues Chart and debuted at #1 on the Billboard Blues chart. It remained on the Billboard Blues chart for 58 consecutive weeks\, landing on ‘Billboard’s Top 15 Blues Albums of the Year’ for both 2023 and 2024. \nMeanwhile\, Total Guitar listed Gomes as ‘One of the 100 Greatest Blues Guitarists of All Time’ in 2024. Guitar World readers voted him one of “The 30 Best Blues Guitarists in the World Today” in 2019\, and the publication noted\, “Gomes is another power player who is at his best when his gear is in the scorched earth between blues and rock.” \nAnthony’s latest release\, 2025’s Praise the Loud\, delivers 12 fresh studio tracks that showcase Anthony’s musical evolution while staying true to the no-holds-barred sound that has earned him a global fanbase. \nReflecting on the new album\, Anthony shares\, “On Praise the Loud\, we pushed our musical boundaries in every direction. We wanted it to rock harder than anything we’ve done before\, but at the same time\, we wanted it to have a deeper\, more soulful blues feel. When people ask me what I sound like\, I say\, ‘If B.B. King was in AC/DC\, that’s what it would be’. That’s Praise The Loud in a nutshell.” \nGomes cites the track ‘Rock & Roll Bluesman’ as the thesis of the album. “My favorite line on the album comes from the song ‘Rock & Roll Bluesman’: ‘I don’t care if they love or hate us\, gonna turn it up so they won’t forget us.’ That lyric captures the spirit of the album—declaring that we’re playing blues rock on our own terms\, no matter what.” \nFrom the powerful rhythms of the album opener “Praise the Loud” to the ZZ Top-inspired groove of “Netflix & Chill\,” Anthony tackles a range of emotions and topics with his signature blend of layered harmonies\, infectious rhythms\, and blues-infused grooves. Tracks like “Meet My Maker\,” “Black Diamond Heavy\,” and “Electric Blues Crusade” highlight his ability to stretch his creative boundaries and expand his lyrical scope\, while songs like “Love Song Gone Wrong” and “In the Name of the Blues” showcase his unmistakable blues guitar mastery. Produced by Peter Carson/Anthony Gomes and mixed by Chris Collier\, Praise the Loud packs the punch and energy fans have come to expect from this world-class blues artist. \nIn the end\, Anthony Gomes is just the kind of guitar hero we need for today. \nWebsite: www.anthonygomes.com \n  \n \n  \n  \n \nConjured on the streets\, on the stages and in the studios of New York City\, emerges Ten Ton Mojo – the new classic rock. This is where bluesy southern soul meets the glory of rock & roll! Ten Ton Mojo is a rock band on the rise! Hailed in the press as “easily the best rock band in New York City” (The Aquarian Weekly)\, Ten Ton Mojo has been providing live support for the late great Kix\, Blacktop Mojo\, The Cold Stares\, Texas Hippie Coalition\, Ace Frehley\, Quiet Riot\, Spread Eagle\, The Supersuckers\, Molly Hatchet\, Enuff Z’nuff\, Saving Abel\, Mike Tramp\, John 5\, the late Scott Weiland and others. \nThis band represents the rebirth of real American rock and roll! Hip shaking rhythms and street wise guitars blend to create memorable hard rock anthems. Singer Dave Anthony says\, “This band started to embrace our roots and to give back to the fans who’ve been wanting this…and we’re always determined to do it our way”. \nTen Ton Mojo has captivated a strong fan base by creating a musical energy which has yet to be experienced in the 21st century. Headlining gigs everywhere from the Viper Room in Los Angeles to Gramercy Theatre in NYC\, have helped to make Ten Ton Mojo a game-changer. \nTen Ton Mojo is the band you’ve been waiting for! \nWebsite: www.tentonmojo.com \n  \n \n  \nReturn to Calendar

Lately\, they’ve been touring with sax powerhouse Tommy Weeks of the Funky Dawgz Brass Band. \nSophistafunk is for music lovers. They blend genres as a broader analogy for people coming together\, leaving audiences with an undeniable afterglow of funky positivity. For years\, Sophistafunk has been pioneers on the live music circuit\, unafraid to push boundaries with their sounds and their messages. And now the whole world is finding out. Catch a show\, and join the party! \nWebsite: www.sophistafunkband.com \n  \n \n  \n  \n \nPeter Prince is widely recognized in the independent music scene with fans from all walks of life and generations\, including many respected celebrity-level musicians. To date\, Prince has released seven original work albums\, written hundreds of songs and compositions\, and has honed a broad range of advanced level skills across songwriting\, production\, performance\, and visual arts. He currently performs live at diverse venues — from premier nightclubs to colleges and festivals\, with a rotation of top notch players behind him — delivering an incredible show\, proven to impress even the most skeptical audiences. He is also actively writing and recording new music\, for entertainment as well as commercial publishing\, licensing and special projects. \nPeter’s musical saga began in New York City in 1993\, with Peter at the helm as lead vocalist\, guitarist\, and songwriter of Moon Boot Lover — a power-packed ensemble consisting of Alan Evans (Soulive)\, and Owen Yost (Tommy James)\, and later joined by keyboardist Neal Evans (Soulive) and bassist John Hawes (Percy Hill). The band swiftly gained popularity in the emerging independent jam band scene\, with Peter honored to co-host the first annual Jammys — an awards ceremony presented by Jambands.com and Relix Magazine\, along with Jambands.com Editor-in-Chief Dean Budnick. \nIn 1997\, band members went their separate ways to pursue diverse stylistic paths while Peter continued to build on the spark lit under the namesake of Moon Boot Lover\, along with plenty of side projects and solo endeavors as well. Leveraging a deep network of talented players\, and attracting a wide cast of crew members rotating in and out of MBL’s lineup — Peter has remained the indomitable source of musical gravity as Lover’s perpetual front man — orbited over the years by such notable talents as drummers Andy Herrick (Assembly of Dust)\, Mike “Slam” Dunkle and Swiss Chris (John Legend)\, bassists Nate Edgar (John Brown’s Body\, The Nth Power) and Jeremiah Hosea (James Blood Ulmer\, Gloria Gaynor\, and Earthdriver)\, and keyboardist Jeff Merrow. \nAfter spending two years fronting Peter Prince & The Trama Unit (2001-2003) — a Muscle Shoals-influenced project that featured Johnny Trama (Ghosts of Jupiter)\, Eric Kalb (Charlie Hunter\, Sharon Jones & The Dap-Kings)\, and the Benevento/Russo Duo — Peter resumed the mission he first launched back in 1993 with Moon Boot Lover: writing\, recording\, and performing what might only be described as his very own brand of “Rock-ET Soul” — an electrifying blend of the enchantment of Al Green\, the guitar wizardry of Jimi Hendrix\, the spellbinding songwriting of Jim Croce\, and the rock grandeur of Grand Funk Railroad and Led Zeppelin. \nToday Peter can be found on stage performing solo\, in a duo side project with singer/songwriter Rhei C. dubbed The Love Notes Project\, or fronting Moon Boot Lover’s current rotation of talented contributors including bassists Ben Carle\, Tom Martin and Mike Gruen\, and drummers Reed Dieffenbach\, Mike Migliozzi\, and Lee Falco… Boot to the Head! \nWebsite: www.peterprincemusic.com \n  \n \n  \n  \n \nMosaic Foundation is a vibrant roots reggae collective formed in 2009\, based in the Finger Lakes region of New York. Their music is a dynamic blend of roots\, ska\, dub\, dancehall\, and more—forward-thinking reggae that remains deeply connected to its roots. \nDescribed as “forward thinking reggae that stays true to the roots\,” the band captivates audiences with their electric live performances and three studio releases. \nWebsite: www.mosaicfoundationmusic.com \n  \n \n  \n  \n \nFor more than a decade\, Rome Ramirez has been the voice behind a sound that shaped summers and soundtracked road trips. As the frontman of Sublime with Rome\, he’s played to packed crowds around the world and helped carry the torch for a band that defined a generation. But now\, for the first time\, he’s stepping out entirely on his own. \nBorn in the Bay Area to first generation Mexican American parents\, Rome grew up surrounded by love\, hustle\, and music. Bob Marley played in the background. So did his mom’s classic soul and his dad’s rock records. He got his first guitar at 11 and started writing songs the way most kids played video games: all day\, every day. \nAt 20\, he landed the gig of a lifetime\, stepping into Sublime’s legacy and helping shape its next era. With four albums\, multiple gold and platinum records\, and collaborations with artists from Dirty Heads to Enrique Iglesias to Blues Traveler\, Rome built a career on versatility and straight- up talent. But somewhere in the middle of everyone else’s projects\, he lost track of what his music sounded like. \nHis solo work is a return to roots not just sonically\, but spiritually. It’s honest\, melodic\, and genre-fluid: a mix of reggae\, soul\, and rock that feels like if Bob Marley\, Leon Bridges\, and Tom Petty cut a record in Nashville. There are live instruments. There are lyrics that say something. And there’s no pretending. \nThe debut solo album\, set for 2025\, is full of the kind of songs that make you want to roll the windows down. “Why Me?” is a laid-back\, grateful reflection on the weird road Rome’s been on. “Back to the Start” is a love letter to long-haul relationships. And “Knew Me” is a wink at everyone who thinks they’ve got him figured out. He collaborated with various friends across the project\, including powerhouse producer Dann Huff (Taylor Swift\, Keith Urban\, Josh Groban\, Carrie Underwood)\, whose touch brought new depth to tracks like “Back to the Start” and “Why Me?” \nAfter years of writing for others\, he’s writing for himself again — in between raising kids\, playing backyard shows\, and chasing the magic that got him into music in the first place. This is Rome\, without the filter. And he’s just getting started. \nWebsite: www.romeramirez.com \n  \n \n  \nReturn to Calendar

DESCRIPTION:Doors: 7:00pm \nAges: 21+ \n  \nJoin us for Latin Night every Sunday at Putnam Place and get down to the hottest Latin beats by BoyBoy and percussionist John Ellis!  For this special Travers Weekend edition of Latin Night\, we are excited to also welcome the Rafy Cabrera Band \, who will be performing a set at 8pm. \nWant to learn Latin dancing?  Our friends from Tango Fusion Dance Company will be here from 7pm – 8pm (every Sunday) offering free dance lessons.  No partner or experience necessary! \nEnjoy a hookah on the patio\, provided by our friends at Hookah Mami’s. \nHungry? We will be serving up delicious Caribbean cuisine on the patio. \n  \n \nRafy Cabrera is a dynamic and genre-blending artist whose roots trace back to the Dominican Republic and whose sound reflects the rich cultural fusion of the Caribbean. Known for his commanding voice\, infectious rhythms\, and deep connection to Latin musical traditions\, Rafy’s style effortlessly blends bachata\, merengue\, salsa\, urban\, and tropical influences\, creating a sound that is both timeless and undeniably fresh. \nBorn in Gaspar Hernández\, in the Dominican province of Espaillat\, and raised in Puerto Rico\, Rafy was immersed in music from a young age. He grew up surrounded by the rhythms of the island and the storytelling soul of bachata\, eventually transforming those early influences into a musical identity all his own. As both a vocalist and songwriter\, Rafy’s work is known for its authenticity\, energy\, and ability to connect across generations and cultures. \nWhile many recognize Rafy Cabrera as a radio pioneer—helping introduce and promote some of the biggest names in bachata to Puerto Rican audiences—his musicianship has steadily carved out its own lane. Rafy’s performances combine live instrumentation with genre-crossing production\, and his lyrics often touch on themes of love\, resilience\, identity\, and celebration. \nOn stage\, Rafy brings a vibrant charisma\, winning over audiences whether he’s fronting a full tropical band\, delivering stripped-down acoustic sets\, or moving crowds with danceable\, high-energy tracks. His deep understanding of Latin music culture\, honed from years in broadcasting and artist development\, informs every performance\, making him a standout figure in the new generation of Caribbean music voices. \n  \n \n  \nReturn to Calendar

SUMMARY:Last Pharaoh\, JJ Savage\, Shawn Shafran Shreds
DESCRIPTION:Doors: 7:00pm \nAges: 18+ \nTickets: $10 Advance / $12 Day of show \n** Click Here to Purchase Tickets ** \n  \nLast Pharaoh teams up with JJ Savage and Shawn Shafran’s Guitar Shred for a rockin’ night at Putnam Place. \n  \n \nLast Pharaoh is a melodic Power Metal/Progressive Metal/Neo-Classical band from the Hudson Valley-Westchester region of New York. Their sound features melodic and refined vocals\, blistering solos\, and a driving rhythm section. All flow fluidly well into crafted catchy songs. Recently formed\, the band consists of veteran pros with years of performing and recording experience. \nRon started playing music at a very young age. He first started on the clarinet\, but quickly switched to guitar when he heard the opening guitar riff to Alice Cooper’s\, “School’s Out.” From then on he was hooked on guitar. His band Pegasus made it to the #13 band in Ohio while he was still in High School. He then moved to New York and got a gig with William Ames (Conductor of the London Symphony Orchestra) doing Neo-Classical Hard Rock/Metal. Ron studied with Kurt Rodamar\, one of Andrea Segovia’s students\, AND took lessons from Greg Howe. Ron has appeared on ESP records\, and Prisonrock records. Ron has now found a perfect musical fit in Last Pharaoh. \nTommy fell in love with\, “The Voice Of Metal” in 1982 while giving Iron Maiden’s The Number Of The Beast its first initial listen after receiving a copy from his Uncle. From there\, he took on the vocal styles of Saxon\, Iron Maiden\, Queensryche\, Dio\, King Diamond\, Grim Reaper\, Savatage\, and Helloween\, melding all those vocal aspects into his own unique style. Tommy’s vocal range is very wide and dynamic. He can switch from aggressive melodic\, (DIO) to stratospheric\, piercing falsettos (King Diamond) at the blink of an eye. Tommy’s vocal style is a perfect fit for Last Pharaoh. \nWebsite: www.facebook.com/LastPharaohMetalBand \n  \n \n  \n  \n \nJJ Savage is a rising hard rock/metal guitarist and vocalist based in Los Angeles\, originally from Albany\, NY. He began playing guitar at age 10 and went solo in 2018 after touring with various bands. In 2022\, he premiered “Close The Curtain” with ex-members of Death Angel and Exodus\, showcasing his blend of modern pop sensibility and classic metal might . \nKnown for channeling his experiences into his performance\, JJ’s sound is influenced by guitar icons like Zakk Wylde and Ronnie Montrose\, combining aggression\, speed\, and melodic expression. \nWebsite: www.facebook.com/1JJSAVAGE \n  \n \n  \n  \n \nShawn Shafran kicks off the night with his instrumental set highlighting guitar technique\, virtuosity\, Neo Classical inspiration\, and Shred! \nWebsite: www.facebook.com/shawnshafranshreds \n  \n  \nReturn to Calendar \n

SUMMARY:An Evening with Shadowgrass
DESCRIPTION:Doors: 7:00pm\nShow: 8:00pm \nAges: 18+ \nTickets: $17 Advance / $20 Day of Show \n** Click Here to Purchase Tickets ** \n  \nWhen their instrumental prowess earned them a vast following on social media\, childhood friends turned all-star act Shadowgrass found sudden success. But as a young band\, the expectations that went along with a large audience proved daunting. “We felt a lot of pressure to make something uniquely us\, because we had such a big following\, and we felt that they deserved more than what we had given them as of yet.” explains the band. The group dug deep into their own musicality\, and tried to block out the noise for their sophomore release All That Will (release date: Oct 4\, 2024). “It turned out that dropping those self-imposed expectations and just writing/making music for our own enjoyment was the key to finding our collective voice and making a record we are all proud of.” \nShadowgrass began in 2014 when Clay Russell (Banjo)\, Luke Morris (Mandolin)\, Kyser George (Guitar) were jamming at the Grayson County Fiddler’s Convention in Elk Creek\, VA. Sometime before their first real show\, the name Shadowgrass was suggested simply because they thought it sounded “cool”. Kyser\, Clay\, and Luke were 9\, 13\, and 14 years old at the time. Now in their early twenties\, their influences and listening habits have changed drastically\, but the group has always grown in the same direction musically. They have welcomed fiddle player Madison Morris\, who also lends vocals and songwriting prowess\, and bass player Evan Campfield. Luke and Madison trade off lead vocals\, and harmonies seamlessly with one another. Their commitment to and keen interest in songwriting brings additional dimensions to the band\, allowing the group to appeal to listeners outside of the expected jam-band community. \nAs a very young band that has already been playing together for a decade\, Shadowgrass has a unique bond. “We’ve grown up together and have watched each other evolve into the people we are today”\, they say. “It sounds cliche but we definitely act more like siblings than bandmates”. On All That Will\, the group explores themes of anxiety and uncertainty\, and questioning the people they want to become. Luckily\, they’ve had each other to share these experiences with\, and it seems that their companionship has only pushed their artistic and musical abilities to new heights. \nWebsite: www.shadowgrass.band \n  \n \n  \nReturn to Calendar \n

SUMMARY:Saratoga Songwriter Night: Megan Houde & Matt Cosgrove
DESCRIPTION:Doors: 5:30pm\nShow: 6:00pm \nAges: 21+ \nTickets: FREE SHOW! \n  \nCome join us for our Saratoga Singer Songwriter Night featuring solo acoustic performances by Meghan Houde and Matt Cosgrove. \nMegan Houde is a singer/songwriter born in West Haven\, CT and now based in upstate New York. As a young girl she learned to play piano despite the challenge of being 80% deaf. She had dreams of being on a big stage with the spotlight on her performing in front of people. To pursue that\, she was enrolled in various music schools and performed in various church cabarets and school musicals (and MANY concerts in the backyard atop her monkey bars). After high school Megan relocated to Upstate New York and discovered guitar. She began writing and performing in the Lake George/Saratoga area as a solo musician and later with various bands. Those early gigs are where I found my voice and learned to connect with a crowd one room at a time. On any given weekend you could find her honing in on her craft locally\, and later touring the Northeast\, sharing stages\, chasing new sounds\, and growing through every mile. \nOver time she found a unique rhythm in performing with tribute acts. Each one brought is own kind of magic but a few became very special- particularly working with a range of incredibly talented Elvis tribute artists and performing as a vocalist for a Led Zeppelin tribute band. Those shows are a reminder of just how powerful and timeless music can be.\nToday\, she is proud to be the Co-producer and performer of the nationally touring show\, ‘A Man Named Cash- A Tribute to Johnny Cash and June Carter Cash’ . It’s a show that honors not just the music\, but the spirit and the storytelling that defined a generation- and it feels like the perfect next chapter in a journey that’s always been about heart\, authenticity\, and a love for performing. \n  \n \n  \n  \nMatt Cosgrove was born and raised in Saratoga NY\, the hidden gem of the northeast. His passion for songwriting and being a performer has led him to dedicate his career to being a musician/artist. Matt has recently finished his first Country EP in Nashville Tennessee. He lives & breathes music. Music is his identity. Matt is mostly influenced by Country music and 90’s Rock. He picked up the guitar at 10 years old\, and has been actively playing since he was 14. He is a natural performer. Matt is known for his captivating stage presence\, powerful voice\, and slick guitar solos. His goal as a performer and songwriter is to lift people up with his music and inspire them to always chase after their dreams. Keep an eye out for his live dates and stay tuned for new music in 2025! \nWebsite: www.mattcosgrove.com \n  \n \n  \nReturn to Calendar \n

Bandleader and Listen Up Award Nominee\, Ky McClinton\, along with longtime friends Isaiah Thomas and Joseph Pouliott\, are based in the capital region and – as a six piece band – had the privilege of working with touring artists The MJT Soul Rockers and Catskill’s Sister Sparrow and the Dirty birds\, performing for local hotspots like Kris Mid City Tavern and nationally recognized venues like Ophelia’s on Broadway and The Palace Theater. They’ve worked closely with local legend Gregory Bell throughout the upstate New York region\, and Western Massachusetts. The blend of R&B – soul and blues rock demonstrates integrated popular favorites\, and engaging originals. Their setlist is elaborately crafted to bring life to any space but also leave room for improvisation\, maintaining spontaneity and allowing adjustments for any room\, for any audience. \nWebsite: www.facebook.com/kion.mcclinton \n  \n \n  \nReturn to Calendar
