Cleverly avoiding the “tribute” trope\, Weird Phishes continues to push the envelope of what a mashup band can be\, delivering performances that need to be experienced in order to believe. \nA quick glance at the band’s social media gives a glimpse into why this unlikely mashup proves worthwhile. “Bought tickets on a whim because I love both bands\, had wanted to check out the club\, and thought it would be amusing.
