He’s played the Blue Note as well as Carnegie Hall\, Central Park Summerstage\, and Eisenhower Park with the New York Pops Orchestra. He’s performed with\, opened for\, or recorded with B.B. King\, Sheryl Crow\, Trey Anastasio\, Al DiMeola\, Greg Allman\, Los Lobos\, Johnny Winter\, Buddy Guy\, Adrian Legg\, Ed Gerhard\, Portishead and many others. A born troubadour\, Matt has performed at numerous international guitar festivals including the Bath International Guitar Festival and the Montreal Guitar Festival. His family history of bands includes The Matt Smith Band\, The Monstas\, Matt Smith’s World\, Chop Shop\, and The Hot Nut Riveters. \nBand Website: www.mattsmithsworld.net \n  \n \n  \n  \n \nFormed in 2010\, New York based rock band Sly Fox and the Hustlers are billed as “Heavy Voodoo Blues over Soulful Funky Grooves – an exciting high energy show not to be missed!” John Popper of Blues Traveler called Sly Fox and the Hustlers\, “one of the best bands I’ve seen in a long time!” \nIn building out his band\, Sly enlisted Johnny Ellis on bass and drummer Sean Ireland\, who spiced up the mix with his powerful Dave Grohl-style playing.
