SUMMARY:Turn it Up For American Foundation for Suicide Prevention
DESCRIPTION:Doors: 12:30pm\nShow: 1:00pm \nAges: 18+ \nTickets: $20 Suggested Donation \n  \nJoin us in support of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention in memorial of Garrett “G$” Meeson. The afternoon will feature live performances by Stealing Signs\, Leaky Faucet\, and Melon. All ticket proceeds raised from this event will be donated to the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention. \n  \n \nStealing Signs is a four-piece indie rock band featuring Trent deHaan [vocals\, guitar]\, Lance Meeson [bass]\, Tyler Truesdail [drums]\, and Ty Mowry [guitar]. The band originated in a basement in Binghamton\, NY\, and has brought their music from their hometown to cities like Syracuse and Saratoga Springs. Lost Without You is the band’s first studio EP\, featuring a variety of grooves\, creative progressions\, and styles that weave between modern rock\, alternative\, and soft acoustic melodies. Their musical variety stems from diverse influences\, drawing inspiration from bands such as Pink Floyd\, The Smiths\, and The Backseat Lovers. Together\, they bring high energy\, captivating grooves\, and memorable melodies to every show — while having a great time doing it. \nStealing Signs Instagram \n  \n  \n \nLeaky Faucet\, fronted by Katie Lee\, takes you on a musical journey from a band that is a group of young\, energetic musicians whose passion and chemistry has hooked audiences across the Capital Region. The band has a talent for blending genres like funk\, jazz\, rock\, and pop into a dynamic show that promises to have crowds dancing! \nWebsite: www.facebook.com/profile.php?id=100092321621289 \n  \n \nThe creation of Melon in the spring of 2020 was a true silver-lining in a time of global crisis. When the world went into isolation\, this group of Saratoga Springs High School graduates—then just 15 and 16-year-old friends—refused to give in to disillusionment. Instead\, they picked up instruments\, took those proverbial lemons\, and made “Melonade”. What started as a way to pass the time quickly became an integral part of their lives\, and by June 2021\, Melon played its first live show\, capitalizing on a shared desire to abandon isolation and embrace the collective joy of live music. \nIn September 2021\, the band hosted its first standalone concert: “Melon Mash”. The community turnout was so electric that multiple “Mashes” followed\, interspersed with gigs at local venues\, private parties\, and charity events. For Melon and their loyal following\, each high-energy gig became an escape\, a ritual\, and a celebration of brotherhood. \nWhile primarily labeled as a jam band\, Melon’s sprawling repertoire effortlessly weaves through psychedelic grooves\, tight reggae beats\, upbeat classic rock energy\, and modern funk rhythms—covering everyone from the Grateful Dead and Bob Marley to Sublime and Stevie Wonder. \nAs the band members have grown older and built lives outside their hometown\, their live shows aren’t as common as they once were. While that is an unfortunate reality\, it makes gigs like this feel even more special. Tonight\, they are honored to bring that rare\, “lightning in a bottle” energy back to the stage in support of a fantastic cause. Thank you\, and enjoy the show! \n  \n  \nReturn to Calendar \n

The following year\, Sponge released the now iconic\, Platinum-selling debut album\, “Rotting Piñata\,” to global\, critical and commercial success. \nAfter two top 10 hit singles\, several tours and live television performances\, including the Jon Stewart Show and Late Night with David Letterman\, Sponge followed up their debut with 1996’s “Wax Ecstatic.” This sophomore effort garnered a “Song Of The Year” nod\nfrom Rolling Stone Magazine for title track “Wax Ecstatic.” The album also yielded two additional top 10 hit singles and featured a guest vocal appearance from Richard Butler of the Psychedelic Furs on the song “I Am Anastasia.” \nSince then\, Sponge continues to release new music and keeps a near-constant tour schedule to the pleasure of their legion of loyal followers. \nThough continually led by Vinnie Dombroski\, Sponge’s lead singer and chief songwriter\, the band has seen a few line-up changes over the course of its 30+ year career. Sponge currently features: Andy Patalan (guitar\, vocals) and his brother Tim Patalan (bass). The Patalan brothers were a natural addition to the band\, having previously engineered and produced the first three Sponge records at their studio\, The Loft\, in Saline\, Michigan. The Brothers Patalan are joined by Kyle Neely (guitar) and recent addition\, former Taproot drummer Dave Coughlin. \nSponge’s discography includes nine studio albums\, four live albums\, and seven charting singles; 4 of which have made Billboard Magazines top 10. SUMMARY:Michael Jerling & GNP (Caffe Lena Sing in the Streets)
DESCRIPTION:Doors: 1:00pm\nShow: 1:30pm \nAges: 18+ \nTickets: FREE SHOW! \n  \nSing in the Streets is Caffè Lena’s free community music festival in downtown Saratoga Springs\, bringing together 23 performers across 10 stages for a day of live music\, discovery\, and community. Join us on Sunday\, May 17\, 2026 for performances by Michael Jerling and GNP\, and check out lots of other great music throughout downtown in a festive\, walkable setting. \n  \n \nMichael Jerling has been writing\, recording and performing his own songs for over fifty years. His baritone voice is backed up with consummate skill on six and twelve string guitars\, harmonica and mandolin\, all buoyed by his dry sense of humor. He displays a first-rate lyrical sense and impressive musicianship\, borrowing from blues\, rock\, country and R&B. A keen student of the good and ghastly in American life\, Michael weaves themes like a novelist\, evoking our shortcomings and dreams without yielding to cynicism or sentimentality. Often praised as a “songwriter’s songwriter\,” he’s been characterized as an artist who performs his “extraordinary songs with the uncommon ability to deliver them to an audience with power and grace.” \nBorn and raised in Illinois\, songwriter Michael Jerling became involved with music while helping to run the campus coffeehouse at the University of Wisconsin – Eau Claire. Now settled in Saratoga Springs\, New York\, Michael has been a noted artist on the club\, college and festival circuits of North America. Michael was a winner of the prestigious “New Folk” competition at the Kerrville Folk Festival in Texas\, and his involvement with the seminal Fast Folk Musical Magazine in New York City led to his song “Long Black Wall” being included in the Smithsonian Folkways CD celebrating twenty years of Fast Folk. \nWebsite: www.michaeljerling.com \n  \n \n  \n  \n \nGNP is a jazz piano trio featuring Tyler Giroux on piano\, Matt Niedbalski on drums\, and Dylan Perrillo on bass. Tyler\, Matt\, and Dylan have been playing together for several years. Their first performances as a group were at the Speakeasy 518 in Albany\, New York\, a cocktail bar known for its prohibition era ambiance and live jazz. Through countless gigs the trio grew together as a unit\, playing as a stand-alone group as well as backing up instrumental soloists and vocalists. \nIn 2020\, a shared passion for original music led to the decision to record their debut album as a group\, “Codes.” “Codes” is a reference to the band’s musical communication\, the unique vocabulary and cues the group developed over years of playing and growing together. The album consists of 9 original pieces composed by Tyler\, Matt\, and Dylan\, as well as one standard\, Gershwin’s “But Not For Me.” You can check out the album here. \nSince the release of “Codes” GNP has performed at a myriad of festivals and theaters in and around New York. A favorite moment of the group was backing up the legendary vocalist Sheila Jordan as a part of the Québec Jazz in June festival. GNP released it’s sophomore album “Returning” on Signal Path Records in January of 2025. \nWebsite: www.mattniedbalski.com/gnp-epk \n  \n \n  \nReturn to Calendar \n

SUMMARY:Weird Phishes & Strange Machines
DESCRIPTION:Doors: 7:00pm\nShow: 8:00pm \nAges: 18+ \nTickets: $18 Advance / $23 Day of Show \n** Click Here to Purchase Tickets ** \n  \nWeird Phishes is exactly what it sounds like – the iconic melancholy rock songs of Radiohead completely reborn as danceable\, crunchy jams. With full-album performances\, unexpected mashups\, and gluey funk-driven improvisation\, their jam-heavy take on alt-rock classics has sparked an unexpected energy in audiences across the northeast. Cleverly avoiding the “tribute” trope\, Weird Phishes continues to push the envelope of what a mashup band can be\, delivering performances that need to be experienced in order to believe. \nA quick glance at the band’s social media gives a glimpse into why this unlikely mashup proves worthwhile. “Bought tickets on a whim because I love both bands\, had wanted to check out the club\, and thought it would be amusing. I was not expecting such incredible musicianship and thought that had gone into their set…it was one of the best shows I’ve seen in years.” Said one user. “Clean\, creative mashups of a favorite album and great Phish selections. Great energy.” says another. “Impossibly excellent show.” \nIn July 2019\, Weird Phishes solidified their place in the New England jam community\, playing back-to-back afterparties after Phish’s performances at Fenway Park. With a growing fanbase and an ever-changing setlist\, the band continued their breakout year with a fall run to the midwest. In a weird bout of poetic justice\, Weird Phishes was the last band to play at northeast jam-staple venue Nectar’s before the coronavirus pandemic of 2020. \nWhen live music came back in 2021\, Weird Phishes returned with a force. The band made its triumphant return with a headlining performance at the inaugural Safe and Soundz festival\, and took a victory lap with appearances across the northeast at Circus of Life Festival and a sold-out performance to christen Boston’s newest venue\, Aeronaut Cannery. \nWebsite: www.weirdphishes.com \n  \n \n  \n  \n \nNew England based quartet Strange Machines has made a name for themselves in the East Coast jam scene over the past decade. A true melting pot of musical fusion with sounds catering to a multitude of genre’s and diving into the undefinable\, all while stringing their music together seamlessly to create a fluid and captivating live performance. Their original songs are nuanced by creative composition\, practiced precision\, and a looseness that allows them to truly explore the music they create. \nThey have shared the stage with national-touring acts such as The Disco Biscuits\, Twiddle\, Dopapod\, Papadosio\, Goose\, EOTO\, The Motet\, Pigeons Playing Ping Pong\, Spafford\, lespecial\, Neighbor\, Turkuaz\, Kung Fu\, TAUK\, Deep Banana Blackout and more. Strange Machines have carved out their own niche in the east coast music scene and beyond and show no signs of slowing down. \nWebsite: strangemachines.bandcamp.com \n  \n \n  \nReturn to Calendar

SUMMARY:Eastbound Jesus Album Release Party w/ Forest Station
DESCRIPTION:Doors: 7:00pm\nShow: 8:00pm \nAges: 18+ \nTickets: $20 Advance / $25 Day of Show \n** Click Here to Purchase Tickets ** \n  \nSaturday May 9\, Upstate New York’s own Eastbound Jesus returns to Putnam Place in Saratoga Springs to celebrate their new full-length album\, Hard To Get To Heaven\, recorded in the band’s barn practice space as the winter of 2025 settled over rural Washington County. \nProduced by the band alongside collaborator Jimi Woodul\, the album captures the raw chemistry that has defined Eastbound Jesus’s sound for years\, carrying the group into a second decade of making music together. The sessions embrace the grit and energy of the band’s Northern Rock style. The resulting record continues the band’s blend of Americana storytelling\, bluegrass instrumentation\, and road-tested rock and roll. \nBy recording in their regular weekly practice space\, the band was able to slow down and experiment\, creating performances that feel both intimate and expansive. Hard To Get To Heaven showcases Eastbound Jesus’s signature high-energy roots sound while exploring deep and reflective songwriting—marking some of the band’s most thoughtful work to date. \nWebsite: www.eastboundjesus.com \n  \n \n  \n  \n \nForest Station\, a Vermont-based bluegrass group\, was born in the Rocky Mountains and realized in the Greens. Their music is a captivating blend of high energy\, tight pockets\, and just enough improvisational grease\, that delivers a unique twist on traditional bluegrass sound. \nIn 2019\, guitarist Eli Martell-Crawford and mandolinist Alex Skowron started a musical partnership in Bozeman\, Montana. At the base of the Bridger Mountains\, they formed a communicative musical bond that has resulted in innovative string music spanning the traditional ideal and pushing a unique style into unknown territory. \nA move east to Vermont introduced life changes\, ambitions\, and musicians. After meeting local banjo mainstay\, Thomas Bryce\, the three began formulating musical ideas and a blueprint for the ideal Bluegrass band. \nRecently\, bassist Rob Strasenburgh came on board\, and fiddle player Silas Hamilton often joins them on stage. The musicians of Forest Station come from multi-genre backgrounds\, and the band can effortlessly drop into cavernous improvisational moments while also meeting blistering bluegrass standards\, showcasing their musical versatility and prowess. \nAfter their first album\, “Earth Tones\,” was released in 2024\, they played at various festivals throughout New England and have played with national acts as they grow their fan base. Their writing partnership\, deep-rooted love for the natural world\, and profound appreciation of Bluegrass music (and beyond) result in music that is a reflection of the mountain ranges\, landscapes\, and forests that surround them. \nWebsite: www.foreststationbluegrass.com \n  \n \n  \nReturn to Calendar \n

SUMMARY:Rainbow Full of Sound & Dead Zep
DESCRIPTION:Doors: 7:00pm\nShow: 8:00pm \nAges: 18+ \nTickets: $18 Advance / $23 Day of Show \n** Click Here to Purchase Tickets ** \n  \nGet ready for a night of Grateful Dead & Led Zeppelin! Rainbow Full of Sound will perform selections from the Grateful Dead’s 5/8/77 Barton Hall show from Cornell University\, followed by a mashup set of Grateful Dead & Led Zeppelin. \nIt’s somewhat boggling to think of Jerry Garcia and Jimmy Page swapping riffs – the beatific Buddha and the slashing\, edgy Page. But as veteran player of Grateful Dead music Waynard Scheller noticed one night\, the chords of the Dead anthem “St. Stephen” merged seamlessly into “Whole Lotta Love.” Then he sat down and found lots of pairs of songs that fit together. And thus was born “Dead-Zep\,” a new band formed from his Rainbow Full of Love to mash up the two repertoires. \nThey not only flow from Zep to Dead and back again\, they play Zep songs like the GD and Dead songs the way Zep would…which makes for a fascinating\, sometimes shocking evening. Hearing “Ramble On” suddenly dissolve into “St. Stephen” can be amazing to the point of a slight and interesting sense of disorientation. It’s a wide\, wide world. \nWaynard has been touring up and down the East Coast for years\, delighting Dead Heads and other listeners. He founded Dead-Zep with a rotating cast in 2018\, and then ran into the pandemic. Now that things are a little healthier…it’s time for Dead-Zep to step out onstage. \nIt’s time now for something (almost) completely different! \nWebsite: www.deadzep.com \n  \n \n  \nReturn to Calendar \n

SUMMARY:Paul Gilbert WROC World Tour wsg/ Greg Koch
DESCRIPTION:Doors: 6:30pm\nShow: 7:30pm \nAges: 21+ \nTickets: $50 \n** Click Here to Purchase Tickets ** \n  \nFrom platinum album sales and number one chart success as a founding member of MR. BIG\, to frightening the guitar community with new levels of ferocious picking technique with shred-pioneers RACER X\, to exploring punk\, pop\, classical\, blues\, jazz\, and progressive instrumental styles in his solo career\, Paul Gilbert has recorded a massive amount of stunning guitar music\, all while circling the globe to play sold-out arenas from Japan to Jakarta. \nWebsite: www.paulgilbert.com \n  \n \n  \n  \n \nIt is not a stretch to say that Milwaukee native Greg Koch is one of the most famous unknown guitar players in the world. His fierce creative spirit and crazed sense of fun fused with a tremendous degree of versatility has made him an island of six-stringed mirth in a sea of guitar warlords. Fifteen critically acclaimed CD’s featuring his unique and incendiary brand of playing and composing\, international tours as band leader\, fourteen best-selling guitar instructional materials for the Hal Leonard Publishing empire\, articles and columns in some the biggest guitar magazines\, a lengthy past tenure as an ambassador for Fender Guitars and a similar position in that capacity for Fishman Transducers has generated a respectable following for Greg throughout the world. Ultimately\, Greg’s 4000 plus videos exceeding 50 million views for Wildwood Guitars of Louisville Colorado showcasing Greg’s wild guitar test drives and random humorous commentary have made him a household name for guitar players throughout the galaxy.\n\nGreg’s latest original music outlet\, The Koch-Marshall Trio\, is perhaps the best vehicle yet to convey his bold improvisational explorations and ever increasing arsenal of original material. The trio blends the explosive guitar manipulations of Greg\, the groove-centric\, power-pocket playing of his son Dylan on drums (who share many telepathic musical moments) and the glorious\, Hammond organ stylings of the uber-talented Toby Marshall\, Greg’s compositions are properly portrayed in the blues drenched\, funk\, chicken-fried\, gospelly\, jazz-rock panorama in which they were conceived. Their first release\, “Toby Arrives” will be released in the February 23\, 2018 on the Mascot Label Group / Players Club Imprint and features the first moments of their unexpected musical partnership captured at an extemporaneous jam session earlier in the year. \nWebsite: www.gregkoch.com \n  \n \n  \nReturn to Calendar \n

He grew up surrounded by the rhythms of the island and the storytelling soul of bachata\, eventually transforming those early influences into a musical identity all his own. As both a vocalist and songwriter\, Rafy’s work is known for its authenticity\, energy\, and ability to connect across generations and cultures. \nWhile many recognize Rafy Cabrera as a radio pioneer—helping introduce and promote some of the biggest names in bachata to Puerto Rican audiences—his musicianship has steadily carved out its own lane. Rafy’s performances combine live instrumentation with genre-crossing production\, and his lyrics often touch on themes of love\, resilience\, identity\, and celebration. \nOn stage\, Rafy brings a vibrant charisma\, winning over audiences whether he’s fronting a full tropical band\, delivering stripped-down acoustic sets\, or moving crowds with danceable\, high-energy tracks. His deep understanding of Latin music culture\, honed from years in broadcasting and artist development\, informs every performance\, making him a standout figure in the new generation of Caribbean music voices. \n  \n \n  \nReturn to Calendar

SUMMARY:Luko Adjaffi & Gold Sun
DESCRIPTION:Doors: 8:00pm\nShow: 9:00pm \nAges: 21+ \nTickets: $10 \n** Click Here to Purchase Tickets ** \n  \nLuko Adjaffi is a songwriter\, singer\, composer\, producer and CEO of Mervilton records. Luko Adjaffi was born Jocelyn Beauvil May 18 1966\, influenced by his native Haitian and Dominican ancestry. Fluent in English\, French Spanish and Creole he artfully weaves French and English throughout his lyrical ballads. Many of his songs are written and sung in French. Many critics and fans see Bob Marley’s spirit in his eclectic fusion of ballad\, reggae\, Caribbean style music. In the United States\, he has performed in several Bob Marley Festivals. Luko is a songwriter\, performer\, producer\, composer\, actor and vocal artist. \nFrom the age of five\, performing in church\, he became a youth sensation by the age of 7 performing in talent competitions all around Haiti. In school\, Luko learned classical music with private French teachers on music theory. At 10 years old he learned to play the guitar and wrote his first song; “La Bataille” one of his teachers was impressed and noted ” you’ll be a singer.” That little voice inside of Luko pushed him to complete Elementary School through High School. Luko finally took his education seriously while writing of the sorrow of Haiti’s problems. He attended the University of Bruxelles in Brussels\, Belgium from 1986-1988 studying music as an exchange student. Three years later he came to the United States of America where he recorded “La Terre” (1989) after extensive travel to Venezuela\, Aruba\, Curacao\, Germany\, Holland\, France. \nWebsite: www.lukoadjaffi.com \n  \n

SUMMARY:Dave Matthews Tribute Band w/ Rich Ortiz
DESCRIPTION:Doors: 7:00pm\nShow: 8:00pm \nAges: 18+ \nTickets: SOLD OUT! \n  \nDMTB is a celebration of the music of the Dave Matthews Band – a time machine to a funky tea party in the 90’s\, a boisterous era of tape trading\, sing-alongs\, and exploration into a new sonic landscape spearheaded by complex guitar riffs\, soaring violin melodies\, smooth sax lines\, and explorative-explosive drumming. \nDedicated to recreating that moment in musical history\, the DMTB has been honing their craft for over 17 years. Since 2004\, the band’s ruthless touring schedule has been unparalleled\, playing over 2000 shows in 46 states and 10 countries. The Buffalo\, NY based band has successfully paid tribute to the Dave Matthews Band\, with heartfelt recreation of DMB’s musical spirit. \nThe DMTB aims to transport the listener back in time. The band takes inspiration from the classic DMB sound\, with immense respect for the original quintet. While including material from the bands later and current catalogs\, the goal is to create a well rounded and authentic tribute. \nThe attention to details\, love for the music\, and sense of community creates an atmosphere that causes concert goers to say “…wow\, if I close my eyes\, it’s like I’m there!” \nWebsite: www.thedmtb.com \n  \n \n  \n  \n \nRich Ortiz’s style is truly his own and his music is his soul. Ortiz\, never a wallflower\, believes he is the product of his family’s cultural diversity and strengths. Since the age of seventeen he’s focused all of his talents and time on his acoustic solo act\, if you can call it that. Rich plays guitar\, harmonica\, and peddle bass (with his feet)\, and he turns heads with his vocals! He has opened shows for CHICAGO\, REO Speedwagon\, STYX\, Ted Nugent\, Ludacris\, Hoobastank\, KC and The Sunshine Band\, Jeffrey Gaines\, Ryan Montbleau Band\, The Wood Brothers\, Robert Randolph\, Tea Leaf Green\, Zach Deputy\, Kracker\, Merl Saunders\, Melvin Seals\, Jim Weider and the Drifters. \nInspired by artists like Jim Croce\, James Taylor\, The Beatles\, Stevie Wonder and Willie Nelson\, he says “I feel I have to change every gig around in order to grow as a musician.” He plays six and twelve string acoustic guitar and chooses not to cultivate a target audience. He thinks “ideally the feeling of people who leave the room or listen to your CD should be one of making someone’s day. What comes out of your tongue says a lot about your soul.” \nIn 2006\, Ortiz released his debut album\, “Let It Be Life”. Recorded with the help of Grammy winning producer\, John Seymour\, the album features live\, unedited studio recordings of all original works. Soon after its release\, “Let It Be Life” was listed as one of the Top-40 selling Funk/Blues albums on CD Baby\, the #1 online record store for independent music. \nIn 2010\, Ortiz released his sophomore album\, “Face of a Lion”\, which features guest musician Kofi Burbridge (Tedeschi Trucks Band). Most recently\, Ortiz released his 2023 single\, “Water is Our Witness.” \nAs his passion for life grows stronger\, so does the energy in his music. Rich is a truly rare\, authentic talent. \nWebsite: www.richortiz.com \n  \n \n  \nReturn to Calendar \n

SUMMARY:Lotus: Rise of the Anglerfish Tour
DESCRIPTION:Doors: 7:00pm\nShow: 8:00pm \nAges: 18+ \nTickets: $28.50 Advance / $35 Day of Show \n** The online presale period for this show has ended. Tickets will be available at the door. \n  \nLotus\, innovators in blending electronic dance music with the jamband model of improvisation\, have captivated audiences with their high-energy\, dance-inducing shows and intrepid studio work. Drawing from genres such as psychedelic rock\, krautrock\, post-rock\, disco\, and funk\, the four-piece band is known for their festival-favorite performances and intriguing songwriting\, which seamlessly transitions from high-flying guitar solos to modular synth workouts\, combining tightly composed songs with free-ranging group improvisation. \nTheir 11th studio album\, “How To Dream In Color\,” showcases Lotus’s evolution\, featuring 12 tracks that traverse a spectrum of soundscapes. While primarily instrumental\, this album includes vocals—both traditional and electronically manipulated—integrating elements that create distinct atmospheres for each composition. Highlights include tracks like “How Do I Come Down\,” a riveting opener with Radiohead-esque vocals from Gabe Otto\, the groovy and unique “Watching the Distant Storm\,” and the driving krautrock instrumental “In the Shadow of the Mountain.” The album originated from demos on an old 8-track reel-to-reel tape machine\, balancing gritty analog sounds with hi-fi studio production. The album reflects a dreamlike narrative where incongruities blend into a cohesive whole\, incorporating guest vocals\, horns\, violin\, handpan\, modular synths\, and modern electronic techniques. \nBuilding on their extensive touring experience and diverse production styles\, Lotus continues to innovate and inspire. Over the last seventeen years\, the band has toured actively throughout the US working their way up from clubs to world-class venues such as Red Rocks (15 times). They’ve become festival favorites\, playing everything from Bonnaroo to Outside Lands and Electric Forest. This year\, the band celebrates the sixteenth anniversary of their annual festival\, Summerdance\, in Garrettsville\, OH. \nMuch like a live Lotus show\, “How To Dream In Color” is a journey\, offering a beacon for fans old and new\, inviting them to explore the vibrant and infinite realms of Lotus’ musical vision. \nWebsite: www.lotusvibes.com \n  \n \n
